HomeInfinite Diversity Nonfinite CombinationsDec 17, 2006

Somebody once said, "human society by it's nature is inherently limited in it's perception of diversity"... in the post 9/11 world that idea has a danger of becoming true unless we come up with an alternative. Aspired by the likes of Sir James Frazer and Joseph Campbell, I seek to find common ground in the midst of diversity.

I am a photography enthusiast and an aspiring geographer, currently studying the effects of culture change and globalization on the Bawm tribe in the Chittagong Hill Tracts.

I am going to try to unravel a question that’s been haunting me for a while. It’s been about five months since I turned thirty, I believe, it’s just about the right time to be thinking about the prospects that lay ahead. Yet, we cannot define the... more

This particular track, complete with warping sound effects from the USS Enterprise, will definitely bring back nostalgic moments for the second generation trekkies/trekkers like me who grew up with TNG. Unlike the TOS theme, this track is... more

Hi Zia...Have a wonderful day and week my friend...I did not know that you had so many beautiful albums that I failed to view in your site. I had been away from multiply for a while and it felt like it had been decades being away from home. I will be back to view them and your blogs that i really love. I noticed your message for everyone and your apology for being away....i would like to apologize too be the long absence. Hugs and take care my friend. Indeed it is a beautiful world as I viewed your album.

Dear All,

My apologies for being so irregular here at Multiply, it's been a hectic year and there's a lot happening in my life. Yet, there's no excuse for my neglect and I sincerely apologize for any misgivings. More recently, I've been to Japan and China in successive days and weeks. It's been a great journey full of new experiences. Thank you for keeping up with me.

Zia
